Lidos - the most beautiful beach bars in Sicily

In Italian, a beach bar or pool club at the beach is called a "lido". A lido offers everything you need for a day on the beautiful beaches of Sicily with friends or family. At some there are full restaurants, at others just cool drinks and snacks. Always available are sun loungers and umbrellas for rent.

Children are usually well taken care of. An obligatory "bagnino" (lifeguard) watches over your little ones at the beach and in the sea. Many beach bars offer pedal boats, water slides, jet skis or other beach related activities such as riding the waves on a banana boat. Some Lidos can also provide a pool directly at the beach.

Most beach bars in Sicily are only open during the summer months of July and August. Especially on weekends, they are often well attended.
