In about 30 minutes, you can reach the center of Palermo or the beautiful coastal town of Cefalù. Although you have a beautiful beach right in front of your door, we would like to recommend Mondello - the city beach of Palermo.

The town of Trabia is well known for being the origin of the stringy pasta. The Arabic geographer Ash-Sharīf al-Idrīsī, who recorded customs and traditions in the cities of Sicily for King Roger II, wrote to him that the people of Trabia made spaghetti even before 1154 AD.
