The interior of this flat is comfortable and besides two bedrooms with a double bed and 2 single beds, it offers a gallery with 2 extra beds. So up to 6 people can be put up here.

The kitchen-cum-living room is equipped with a dining table, a TV and a fully fitted kitchen. From here you reach the gallery by wooden stairs.

In case you are searching for a change, this is the right place for you. Excursions to Sicily's mountains as there is the Nature Reserve Nebrodi or to the beach (8 km) are possible as well as the ascent of the Etna or a visit to the Eolian Islands.

In the evenings, various pubs and restaurants in San Marco d'Alunzio tempt to bring the day to a perfect end.

San Marco d`Alunzio is a picturesque and typical Sicilian place, 540 m above sea level. In the narrow lanes there are small workshops, ice-cream parlours, pubs, bars and various restaurants. San Marco d`Alunzio is a lively, authentic and never boring village.

The nearby Nature Reserve Nebrodi offers various great hiking trails along beautiful lakes, providing an insight into the diversity of the rocky elevations as well as into the richness of the vegetation. The Arabians called the Nebrodi region “an island on an island” because of its lush woods, small lakes and nice torrents.

Its centuries-old farmer's and shepherd's culture is reflected in the numerous manual products such as embroidered scarves, baskets, and sheep cheese. Traditional products such as honey, olive oil, hazelnuts, pistachio, and berries from the forests are offered as well. The Nebrodi is a centuries-old cultivated landscape in Sicily.

Not far from the vacation apartment Balcone Crimaldi there are the ruins of Tydaris on a cliff above the gulf of Patti. Tyndaris is one of the last towns founded by the Greek in Sicily. The sandbanks of Tyndaris are a dream! They fit in picturesquely into the Tyrrhenian Sea. Allow yourself to be carried away by the festival of the holy Black Madonna. Each year in September, the town celebrates the festival of the Black Madonna with child with thousands of pilgrims. The Madonna is famous all over Sicily for its miracles.

What about a trip to the seven volcanic islands? It is an expedition for young and old. Be it a round trip of Stromboli, the permanent active volcano or a mud-bath on Vulcano, Alicudi or Filicudi. The Eolian Islands offer a breathtaking panorama and are worth a trip!
