The vacation apartment is only 1 km away from the Porta Messina, the city gate to the historic city centre of Taormina.

Taormina is probably the most famous city in Sicily and famous for several sights, but especially for the ancient theatre of Taormina. An ancient greek-roman amphitheatre where events still take place. The theatre was built in a fantastic location, with an impressive view to the volcano Etna. 

The small nature reserve Isola Bella, which is connected to the beach of Taormina by a narrow strip of sand, is also particularly recommended.
