Villa Sunshine is located in a quiet area just outside Syracuse, approximately 5 minutes from the beach and about 7 minutes from Ortigia, the historic centre of Syracuse. The small island of Ortigia is a place full of art and culture and is one of the most beautiful in the world. In about 40 minutes you can reach the towns of Avola, Noto, Pachino, Marzamemi, Portopalo, San Lorenzo and the famous beach Calamosche.

The city of Syracuse is situated on the east coast of Sicily and is the capital of the Province of Syracuse. In antiquity, Syracuse was for several centuries the largest and most powerful city in Sicily. In 2005, UNESCO declared Syracuse, together with the Necropolis of Pantalica, a World Heritage Site.
