Casa Vulcano is located in a large bay by the sea, between Capo di Tindari and Capo di Milazzo, at the foot of a beautiful mountain landscape, in the historic center of the small village of Rodi Milici - a true gem in a romantic location.

In the vacation house Casa Vulcano a fantastic view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands awaits you. "The most beautiful place is on the roof terrace" ... our guests say again and again.  The roof terrace is the ideal place to sunbathe, read or simply unwind with a glass of delicious Sicilian red wine.

Interior Description:

The indoor living area is 110 sqm and is perfectly suitable for 2 to 5 people. The bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin is located right next to the three bedrooms on the lower, pleasantly cool floor of the house. Especially in the hot summer months a great advantage, since this means that the air conditioning, although present, is not necessary. In the large bedroom, with balcony, there is a comfortable double bed (180×200 cm) made according to German measurements. Small but nice are the two single bed rooms. They are equipped with grandma's furniture and are so really cozy. An extra bed is possible on request.

The spacious living room (45 sqm), with balcony and view of the sea, offers plenty of space, comfortable seating for 6 people, a satellite TV with all German and international channels, a gas central heating, as well as a large German-language book selection.

A guest toilet with sink and washing machine is also located on this living level.

Wireless internet (WLAN - for a fee) can be used throughout the house.

Here cooking is really fun:
The cozy, brick kitchen is the favorite place for most guests, in addition to the directly adjoining terrace. Through panoramic glazing (large sliding glass windows and sliding glass doors) you have a beautiful view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands. The kitchen is fully equipped: 4-burner gas stove, fridge-freezer, German coffee maker and Italian espresso machine, air conditioning, radio-CD, dishes, cutlery and pots. There is room for 6 people at the dining table.

The piazza of Rodi Milici is not watched over by an imposing cathedral, nor is there an ancient temple waiting for visitors. But there are three different churches in Rodi, although not mentioned in any guidebook, they are charming and worth seeing in a typical rural way.

But our guests do not come to Rodi Milici because of the churches. Nor does it live from tourism. You will not find a souvenir store or a luxury boutique with the same prices on every corner.

It is a grown and traditional living Sicilian village. In the winter months, you won't be faced with closed stores and restaurant doors and the sidewalks aren't "folded up". You will experience pure Sicilian everyday life 365 days a year.
