Booking

How do I book a vacation rental?

Browse the listings and click "Send Enquiry" on the property page. Fill in your travel dates and number of guests — a reply follows within 24 hours, confirming availability and walking you through the next steps.

Is there a minimum stay?

Most properties have a minimum stay of 7 nights during peak season (June – September). Outside peak season many properties are available for shorter stays. The minimum stay for each property is shown on the listing page.

How is my booking confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed once the deposit (or full payment if within 8 weeks of arrival) has arrived and a written booking confirmation has been sent to you by email. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received this confirmation.

Prices & Payment

How do I pay?

Payment is made directly to the property owner by bank transfer. The payment details and schedule are provided in the booking confirmation. Credit card payments are not accepted at this time.

Are the prices shown per night or per week?

All prices on this website are per night. Prices vary by season — high-season rates apply in July and August, shoulder rates in May, June and September, and low rates outside these periods. The total price for your stay is always shown before you confirm.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. Unless your booking confirmation states otherwise, the deposit is 25 % of the total price and is due within 7 days of the booking confirmation. You pay the balance directly to the host, no later than 21 days before arrival. If arrival is less than 21 days away, the full amount is due immediately.

Getting There

How do I get to Sicily?

Sicily has two international airports: Palermo Falcone-Borsellino (PMO) and Catania Fontanarossa (CTS). Both are served by direct flights from many European cities. Alternatively, you can travel by ferry from mainland Italy (Naples, Genoa, Civitavecchia) to Palermo or Messina.

Can you arrange airport transfers?

Terra Mia Immobiliare can recommend reliable local transfer services. Please provide your arrival details when booking and the contact with the preferred partners will be arranged.

Do I need a rental car?

For most properties outside the main towns a rental car is strongly recommended. Public transport in rural Sicily is limited. Terra Mia Immobiliare will advise on the best option for your chosen property.

At the Property

Are pets allowed?

Some properties welcome pets and some do not. The pet policy for each property is clearly stated on the listing page. Please always confirm before bringing a pet.

Is there Wi-Fi at the property?

The majority of properties have Wi-Fi. Internet availability and speed are indicated on each listing. Please note that in rural areas connection speeds can vary.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00. Many owners are flexible — please agree your arrival time when booking. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible subject to availability.
