Due to the central location of the holiday apartment Casa Colombo both the small port of Patti and the beach are within easy walking distance, so a private car is not necessary for a holiday in Sicily.

Patti is outside the high season a typical italian harbor town, where everyday life is very quiet. In the high season, especially in August, the city transforms into a lively seaside resort with guests from all over the world.

Patti is ideal for excursions in Sicily. Capo Tindari and the Laghetti di Marinello with the most beautiful sandy beach on the north coast of Sicily are about 10 km away and Milazzo about 35 km. The Aeolian Islands are reachable the whole year from Milazzo and in the summer months also directly from Patti by ferry. Cefalù, Taormina and the volcano Etna are also popular destinations.
